Beautiful weather!

We had beautiful weather again this weekend. Payton got out both days to enjoy the weather. My good friend Laura came in to visit and was able to stop over to spend some time with Payton. We took him to the park and just hung out on Saturday. Sunday we spent the day with Jolie and Emmett, going to the park again and taking a walk. Payton got some new shades from Grandma and he was eager to show them off!Sunday, April 22, 2007
Payton is 14 months old!
I can't believe that Payton is 14 months old today! It is amazing how time flies! Payton is finally over the flu and has his appetite back in full force! Graham taught him how to dip his grilled cheese sandwich in Ketchup and he thought it was so fun to dip each piece. I am glad I was not there to witness it:) We went for a long bike ride this weekend and I can't wait to do it again when the weather is more consistent. We also did some Spring cleaning outside that Payton was more than eager to help with.

The flu!
Well, Payton got the flu for the first time Tuesday evening so I haven't been able to post any new pictures. He is beginning to feel better today but still isn't eating much and only drinking milk (about 8oz a day, which normally would be about 20 oz). I am hoping he starts feeling even better and his fever breaks soon, which isn't very high anyways;) We are all very exhausted in this house!

Mmmmm....Ice Cream!
Payton eating his Oberweis Ice Cream

Riding with Mommy!

Me and my buddy, Sean!
Can I try your hat on?
Payton had his first ice cream experience this past weekend and of course he had the best, Oberweis! At first he wanted nothing to do with the vanilla ice cream until he finally got some of it on his tongue. It was down hill after that!! He loved the ice cream and cried when we had to take it away from him. He definately takes after both of his parents:0) We also tried out our new bike trailer from Gaia and Grandpa Brown and loved it. We can't wait to go for long bike rides in the summer. We had a fun but pretty busy weekend, filled with new things. We also went to Payton's friend Sean's first birthday party. They are about a month and a half apart and will hopefully have a great time growing up together.

Here are a few pictures from Good Friday and Easter Sunday! We went to Yorktown Mall with Aunt Alyssa, Aunt Jen, Uncle Tom, Jolie and Emmett to play on the indoor play area. Jolie and Payton had a lot of fun, especially riding the train:) On Easter we went to Grandma and Grandpa's and had an easter egg hunt. Payton really enjoyed it and even understood what to do! We had a great time!

The Park

Graham and Payton chasing after the dogs:)
Swinging...

Today was my last day of Spring break so we decided to spend the day outside and enjoy the beautiful start to the day. We went to the Centennial Beach playground which has a squishy floor so the kids don't get hurt when they fall. We got their early and had a great time. It was packed by the end of the morning! Payton had a great time swinging but was more interested in all of the dogs that walked by. He kept chasing after the dogs and finally one was nice enough to stop and let him pet her. We walked around downtown Naperville and stopped into the local dog bakery to get Sami a birthday treat. He will be 4 on April 4th, which makes that his "Golden Birthday"! My week flew by but it was filled with great friends and lots of fun:)
