Payton had his first ice cream experience this past weekend and of course he had the best, Oberweis! At first he wanted nothing to do with the vanilla ice cream until he finally got some of it on his tongue. It was down hill after that!! He loved the ice cream and cried when we had to take it away from him. He definately takes after both of his parents:0) We also tried out our new bike trailer from Gaia and Grandpa Brown and loved it. We can't wait to go for long bike rides in the summer. We had a fun but pretty busy weekend, filled with new things. We also went to Payton's friend Sean's first birthday party. They are about a month and a half apart and will hopefully have a great time growing up together.

Great-Grandma Boyvey is on her way over to teach him the finer points of being an ice cream-aholic! He'll say to heck with plain old vanilla, bring on the butter brickle and chocolate chip mint!
I'm happy to see Payton enjoying his biking trailer. It will be great fun for the three of you to enjoy the bike trail together. It won't be long before Payton needs his own 2 wheeler.
