We have managed to keep ourselves very busy over here:) Over the weekend we participated in the annual Heart For Life 5K with our ISU friends, thanks to Becky who organizes it every year. This year we walked for Becky's dad and some of our friends even had special t-shirts made for us all in honor of him and what a wonderful man he was.
After the run Payton, my mom & I headed out to Indiana for Hailey's 6th birthday party. We had a great time but poor Payton wanted to go into the pool so badly and his mean mommy didn't want to be the only adult parading around in her bathing suit. Where are the dads and grandpas when you need them?
On Monday I got to experience life with three kids for a couple of hours while my sister worked a summer camp. It went very smoothly and thank God the kids were on their best behavior. I think I could do that, well...maybe!
Tomorrow we have our last music class of the summer and on Thursday we head out to the zoo with Becky, Melissa and their kids.

A Grandson with musical talent...I would have never guessed it. It definitly didn't come from the parents, but it may be a "gene" thing. When we "sit" with Mr. P in August we will work on his slide and moon walk to add to his entertainment reportoite.
Zoo animals, I agree, in the cage is the preferred vantage point....up close may be too personal.
