This past weekend we spent some time together, just the 3 of us. It has been so crazy lately that we needed some alone time as a family. We decided to take Payton to the Children's Museum in Naperville. Payton had been there already with my parents but neither Graham nor I had been there. We had a great time and found out that 2hrs was just the right amount of time. Payton loved the water table and the music room the best.
I started back to work this week and the transition couldn't have been smoother! Payton loved seeing his friends Jessee and Gracie and was just as excited to see his babysitter Donna. This week has been hell for me due to the fact that we don't have air in our school and with no kids I am sweating my butt off. I can't imagine what it will be like Monday when the 27 kindergartners come running in:(

That looks like so much fun!!
I'm glad you guys were able to go with him - grandparents shouldn't do all the fun stuff! :)
I'm glad the first week went well for you and yay for fantastic babysitters! That part is so underrated!
Hope the weather cools for you - it's been brutal!!
He is looking so grown-up - I cannot believe Payton is already 18 months!
The museum looked like a lot of fun! I will have to take Mia there sometime. I hear you too about the lack of air conditioning! Let's hope it cools down quick now that we're back in school.
I think I'd rather by hot than sit all day in our wing at school ... I've worn pants and a jacket inside all summer. You could hang meet in that place!
Wow! Looks like the Children's Museum is great fun...reminds me of taking Graham & Alyssa to the one in Indy when they were Payton's age...riding the real carousel was their favorite.
