We had a great weekend despite the HOT weather! Graham and I have been going out to Honey Hill Apple Orchard in Waterman, Illinois for about 5 years. Last year we tried to take Payton, however they had a bad crop and the weekend we chose to go out, they were totally out of apples to be picked. This year we tried again, hoping for some apples to pick and there were plenty. Payton loved finding apples all over the ground and had so much fun on Graham's shoulders picking the apples off of the trees. He kept saying "mo apples peas". It was so cute! We went on a hay ride to get out to where you can pick the apples and we even saw some farm animals. It was hilarious because the whole way out to the orchard Payton was saying "animals, animals, animals" as if he couldn't wait to see the animals but once we got there and we got near the animals he was scared to death:) I thought for a moment we had gotten out of the scared of animals phase but no such luck. Tomorrow we head out to Rockford to see a friend who moved.
My high school friend, Laura, came into town from D.C. for her niece's baptism so hopefully Payton and I can go out to see her later today. Sorry for the random pics in these next few posts!
