Update

It has been a while since my last post and unfortunately I have no new pictures to post! Both last weekend and this weekend have been very busy. My former boss' daughter (29 years old) was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to her liver. She is currently receiving chemo in hopes of shrinking the tumors on her liver so they can do surgery. She is amazing and remains very positive and continues to work each day that she feels well enough. Last Saturday her friends coordinated a huge fundraising benefit for her many accumulating expenses. It was held at the Wyndam and it included food, drinks and many different silent auction donations. It was great to see the large number of people who came and the support that she is getting.
Last weekend ended with another fundraiser but this time it was a kid's concert at a bar near my sister's house. The singer was "Mr. Dave" and Payton had a blast singing and dancing with Jolie and Emmett. The money raised went to an organization which helps children who have lost siblings. The family who started the organization recently lost their 3-year-old son who drowned in their backyard pool.
This weekend has also been busy and its only Saturday night:) Last night my parents took Payton for the weekend and Graham and I went to the Neuqua basketball playoff game which was held at Oswego East High School. It was nice to get out alone and cheer on Graham's school. The Wildcats were down for most of the game (but it was close) until the last 4 minutes where they took total control and ended up winning. They now move on to Super Sectionals on Tuesday night.
Today, Saturday, we woke up at 5am and headed out to Tyrol Basin in Wisconsin for another ski club trip. The last ski trip I went on it was -10 degrees and today it was 50 degrees. It was funny to see people skiing in a t-shirt. Now since it was 50 degrees the snow was man made and very icy in spots and slushy in others. Not good skiing conditions so Graham and I went about 2hrs and called it quits. We had fun just relaxing in the lodge and being away made it easy to do nothing and not feel guilty. Payton went to a play with my parents along with Jolie and Emmett. My parents have all three tonight and Payton and Jolie are sleeping in the same bed, yikes! I wonder how long it will take them to fall asleep tonight. I am hoping for a relaxing day tomorrow and a happy kid:)
