Despite the icky weather we had this past week, we managed to find a few things to do. It was our first time having both of us off for spring break and Payton loved it! We spent Monday morning with Emma and Alyssa, playing and having Ugly's hot dogs for lunch, yummy! On Wednesday we had Sean's 3rd birthday party. Payton and Sean are about a month and a half apart in age and of course had a great time playing with each other at the party.

On Wednesday night Payton had a sleepover at my parent's house so we could go out on a date. Unfortunately, I also came down with a nasty cold that night so I couldn't taste any of my food at Walter Payton's Roundhouse:( Graham enjoyed his though! On Thursday, my roommate from college, Heather and her husband and new baby stayed with us for a couple of days. It was nice to meet Brynne and see the college girls again! We are planning on stopping in St. Louis on our way to the Ozarks this summer to see them again.

Today we had our annual playgroup birthday party to celebrate everyone's third birthday. We had the party at the Darien Park District and it was perfect! It included an hour of play time in this large room. The room had all kinds of bikes, ball pits, climbing things, slides, etc... Then we got another hour in a different room for pizza, cake and painting! We did a book exchange this year instead of presents since most of us are trying to cut the spending back right now.

Today (well technically yesterday but we are celebrating today) is Sami's birthday! He turned 6 years old and Payton picked out a special treat at the doggie bakery for him. Payton was so excited and wanted to give Sami his balloon from his party and the picture he painted to him. Too cute!
