It has taken me so long to get this post out!! I am having a hard time believing that he is 4 years old already. He has such a fun personality and is a really good kid. He is always trying to make me laugh and acting silly. His academic skills are coming along at warp speeds. I can't believe he knows all of his letters and sounds, rhyming words, opposites and even blended the sounds I said to make a word! Whoa, where did my baby go? He loves preschool and apparently listens and makes good choices there:) Graham and I are just blown away daily at his development and the funny things he says.
We had Payton's birthday party the weekend before his actual day. Graham's parents came in for the celebration and we had the family over for some dinner and cake. Payton wanted a Batman/Tinkerbell theme so we picked out the decorations together and it came together nicely. He was totally spoiled with great presents and had a blast with his cousins. He is lucky to have so many cousins and that they are close in age to him.
On Monday was Payton's actual birthday and we started the day with bunny pancakes and candles. He loved the cute pancakes and enjoyed any time people sang to him. He had preschool that day so he was able to celebrate there too by bringing in a special snack. Graham's parents were able to come in at the end for snack and to see them sing to him. For dinner we had the Grandparents come over for our favorite Lou's pizza.
I am pretty sure he had a blast this year and is already asking how long til he turns 5!!
