Lions, Tigers and Bears

The high school girls

This weekend was a busy but really fun one! I got to spend Saturday with my closest friends from both high school and college. I started out the day having breakfast with my high school friends and their kids at Juicy-o's in Lombard. This is a great breakfast place and has kind of become "our" place due to the fact that it is right off of the expressway which makes it easy for all of us to get to. For dinner I went to Rock Bottom with my college friends and to the movie, He's Just Not That Into You, which was soooo cute! It was so nice to see everyone this weekend and catch up on each other's lives.

Today Graham and I decided to take Payton to the zoo since it was somewhat of a nice day and we actually had no plans. Payton has a bit of a cold and nasty cough so we didn't last long but it was probably the best visit I have had to the zoo in a long time because all of the "big" animals were out for us to see. It seems like every time I go to the zoo they are never out or are sleeping but today the cats, bears, elephants and dolphins were all out and very entertaining. We had a great time and I think I will probably take Payton back next weekend if the weather is nice. I am a member but if you are not a member, they are running a special for February. The zoo is free on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as every weekend. Great deal!!

What fun! It is so nice you are close to your "growing up" friends. One of my goals this year is keeping up with and making new friends. Thanks for being my inspiration!
