On Memorial Day we rode our bikes to downtown Naperville to watch the parade. It was good but poor Payton was so upset that nobody threw candy. Guess the economy is affecting even the paraders:( My Mom and Dad met us there and brought breakfast! After the parade, Graham, Payton and I went to the park and had a picnic. There was a family of geese who were very insistent on getting some of our food. Payton threw them a piece of bread which started the chase! The geese started running after us and Graham was throwing garbage away at the time. The geese totally freaked Payton and I out but Graham came to the rescue, running at them and yelling. It was a funny sight for anyone who was walking by:) We finally made nice with the geese and decided to feed them the rest of our bread. I think I just felt bad for the baby geese.

Those geese are evil. They have attacked me in the past as well. I hate them. Never, ever feed them (as the signs around the Riverwalk say).
